True North Wealth Management is a family business located in Palmyra and Carlisle PA.  We have been working with clients throughout Central Pennsylvania for decades,  helping them navigate a path to their financial future.  Our extensive knowledge in tax preparation and planning enables us to offer an in-depth analysis of tax implications associated with investments, large and small.  Our office is recognized as a top producing office within HD Vest Financial Services, one of the nation’s top 15 independent broker-dealer firms. 

The primary purpose of this position is to support the financial planning process through data input, paperwork, and most importantly client relationship management.  Ideally we are looking for someone who is interested in getting licensed in the future, and there is opportunity for growth within our company.  

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in planning events and seminars
  • Scheduling systematic contact activities
  • Overseeing appointment setting and schedules
  • Making follow-up phone calls to set or confirm meetings
  • Proactively preparing a variety of reports for scheduled appointments
  • Recognizing opportunities during day-to-day client interactions
  • Updating prospect and client data records
  • Executing direct mail programs
  • Processing deposits and transactions
  • New account and account maintenance paperwork and filing

 Job Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in similar position or equivalent education in related fields (Successful candidates may have held previous roles as administrative assistants/office support or come from banking institutions, medical offices, or other financial services institutions).
  • well-organized multi-tasker who enjoys working with both technology and people
  • exceptional client and customer service abilities

  • Strong initiative, with the ability to stay focused and proactive while working independently
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • A focus on detail and accuracy
  • The aptitude to learn and understand the financial services industry
  • While job is primarily located in our Carlisle office, there could be some travel to our Palmyra office as well
